The most popular type of fence i erect is a "Closed Board" style, this consists of 4" x 4" square posts concreted in the ground with a gravel board at the bottom, 4" x 2" rails fixed top, middle and bottom, and then featheredge boards fixed vertically, where possible a capping is installed along the top of the vertical boards
